Comprehensive School Threat Assessment Guidelines (CSTAG)

This interactive training introduces participants to the Comprehensive School Threat Assessment Guidelines (CSTAG), a research-based approach developed by Dr. Dewey Cornell. This session equips school-based teams with the knowledge and skills to implement an evidence-based threat assessment process that emphasizes early intervention, problem-solving, and violence prevention.

• Level 1 | Rationale & Conducting a Threat Assessment, Pathways to Violence, Legal & Practical Issues, and Research
• Level 2 | Team Exercises, Case Management, and Implementation

CSTAG training is for School Leadership Teams, including school psychologists, administrators, counselors, SROs, and other members of multidisciplinary threat assessment teams.
