SUMMARY:Character Strong - Professional Development for Principals
DESCRIPTION:How Principals Can Utilize Professional Development for Behavior and De-Escalation \nThis webinar is designed for principals who are seeing an increase in student behavior challenges and want professional development to actually change daily practice. We’ll look at how to use PD strategically—not as one more meeting\, but as a lever to build consistent behavior expectations\, de-escalation skills\, and common language across staff. Participants will explore practical ways to structure PD so it supports Tier 1 and Tier 2 systems\, gives adults simple tools for preventing and responding to escalation\, and creates follow-up routines that help learning stick. You’ll leave with concrete ideas for using professional learning to improve student behavior\, staff confidence\, and schoolwide consistency.
