DESCRIPTION:Registration coming soon! \nTraining is from 8:30-3:30 CT on Jan 4 and 8:30-12:00 CT on Jan 5. Support for Stduents Exposed to Trauma (SSET)\, an adaptation of CBITS (Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Trauma in Schools)\, is designed to help schools and school systems that do not have access to school-based clinicians. Designed with and for teachers and nonclinical school counselors\, this program targets students in 5th grade and above. SSET uses a lesson-plan format instead of a clinical manual. \nSSET is delivered by school staff with the support of a local clinician who helps troubleshoot and make referrals as needed.
