DESCRIPTION:Register HERE! \nBehavioral Health Education\, Awareness\, and Response Development (BeHEARD) for Educators explores behavioral health concerns in youth aged 10-17. This basic course will provide you with tools to support youth struggling with a wide range of behavioral health concerns. \nThis course includes 4-5 hours of self-learning modules and a 4-hour live virtual session. The live virtual session allows participants to practice using the tools and skills learned throughout the course. Upon course completion\, 8.75 hours of continuing education are awarded. \nObjectives \nParticipating in the BeHEARD for Adults Supporting Youth course will help you: \n\nRecognize that behavioral health in youth aged 10-17 can vary based on many factors.\nList signs of common behavioral health concerns in youth.\nUse REACH tools to help youth with behavioral health concerns.\nBuild confidence in skills to support well-being and safety in youth.
