DESCRIPTION:Click here to Register. \nSession Times: April 15th\, 22nd\, 29th\, and May 6th from 8:30am – 12:00pm. \nDescription: During this workshop\, participants gain the knowledge necessary to meet the mental health needs of students and staff following school-associated crisis events. \nObjectives: Upon completion of Workshop 2\, participants will be able to: \n\n\nPrevent and prepare to mitigate psychological trauma\, \n\n\nReaffirm the physical and psychological safety of members of the school community\, \n\n\nEvaluate and conduct psychological triage\, \n\n\nRespond to the psychological needs of the school community utilizing a multi-tiered approach\, and \n\n\nExamine the effectiveness of school crisis intervention and recovery efforts. \n\n\nAudience: School-based mental health professionals (school counselors\, social workers\, psychologists; those with clinical or non-clinical backgrounds)
